Where to live?
There are many options for staying in Ho Chi Minh.

You can choose either a 3, 4 or 5 star hotel, or a India Lead more economical backpacker hostel.

On this trip I chose a bagpack hostel located on Bui Vien Street (district 1) called KONIKO Bagpack Hostel. The price charged is 8 usd for one night.

However, this hostel does not have an elevator. You have to climb the stairs to get to the dome or the room you booked.

It’s quite a challenge if you’re carrying a lot of stuff.

Apart from Koniko, there are dozens of budget backpack hostels around Bui Vien Street.
